This should of been an easy game for the 6-1 Packers against the 1-5 Vikings. However reality does not always happen the way you want it to. The Packers went into this game thinking that they were going to decimate the Vikings but they were mistaken.

The Packers got the ball at the beginning of the game. The Packers were again successful on their first drive and got a touchdown right of the bat. However, the Vikings responded with a touchdown to end the first quarter.

In the middle of the second quarter the Packers had possession of the ball at the Vikings 20 yard line on 4th and 1, Jamal Williams ran the ball and was able to squeeze in and get the first down. A pass interference call was made against the Vikings and the Packers were able to score a touchdown on the one yard line. The Vikings were able to respond again and tied the game at the end of the half.

The Vikings defense were playing absolutely amazing in the first half and, they would need to keep playing the way they were if they wanted a chance to win the game. In the third quarter, the Vikings had possession of the ball and drove up the field but with a pass interference call against the Packers they were able to get a second chance and scored a touchdown and leading for the first time in the game. When the Packers got the ball back they were finally stopped by the Vikings defense and were not able to respond to the Vikings. The Vikings then scored another unanswered touchdown making the score 28-14.

The Packers were completely shutdown in the third quarter. The Packers and Vikings went back and forth in the fourth quarter until the end when Aaron Rodger threw a touchdown pass and attempted a two-point conversion which was successful making the score 28-22. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense were able to climb up the field but were unsuccessful when Aaron Rodgers was hit when he was throwing.

The Packers should of easily won this game but the Vikings defense showed up and stopped the Packers incredible offense. Kirk Cousins who is very inconsistent this season was able to also put up a performance and made some great plays. The Packers will be fine in their chances to the playoffs considering the rest of their conference is underperforming.
